On the California coast, just south of San Francisco, is the scenic city of Pacifica, home of the parish community of St. Peter. St. Peter Catholic Church was established as a parish on June 25, 1956 and is a part of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. The church is located at the foot of Linda Mar Boulevard, adjacent to San Pedro Valley Park, and currently serves more than 1300 individuals/families with daily celebrations of the Liturgy, a children’s religious education program, adult faith formation and sacrament preparation. All are welcome.
It’s a great joy for me to be at St. Peter, Pacifica. The beauty of our surroundings and the warmth of our parishioners are signs to me of God’s goodness.
As a community of faith, God calls us not to lives of achievement, but to lives of faithfulness.
As we journey to the kingdom of God, let us strive daily to love tenderly, act justly, and walk humbly with our God.
Peace, Rev. Jerome P. Foley, Pastor
